Stop Working Mom Guilt !
Remember why and what you’re working for. Focus on the possibilities for you and your family.
Has your family lifestyle improve because of your contribution? Are you saving
for bigger home, family car, vacation by working? These are all great purposes and it should be the reasons why you should
feel less guilty.
Accept that you can’t be a super human and have to develop a method of having a good
work and family balance when making decisions. Juggling work and family is hard
and it requires that you compromise.
Kids time is so important. So involve your kids with your decisions, give
them the opportunity to contribute to your work. Remember that it’s the quality of time that you spend with your family
that counts not the material things that you provide.
Talk, Talk Talk about how you feel. If you let your feelings
of guilt pile up, they would smother you. Talk to your family, your husband, your significant other, or a friend about how
you feel. Letting off some steam can be extremely helpful.
Avoid negative sources, their snide comments are seldom
intended to resolve issues. Seek support. Spend time with other working moms find out how they cope and ask for tips on creating
family activities whilst away from home.
